Default 350z rust

thanks guys! I passed on this one.

Looking at picking up another Z. Zero rust on the body, but the underside is a nightmare. Any hope in repairing this?

Unless it was extremely cheap and I could use some parts off it I would pass.

$1500, rest of the car is clean, engine is strong. Was thinking a parts car.

You wouldn’t have much money in it might be worth it just for parts.

Whoa, looks like someone raised the titanic. I've never seen rust so extreme on a 350Z before, this car had a rough life.

Yeah, not worth repairing, you would need a donor for the donor. Even as a parts car I would be concerned, since removing parts with rusted bolts/fasteners might mean also damaging said parts.

But not all is lost if the interior, body, and engine/trans are mint, you could come out ahead if you parted it out.
Cheers!

What's your time worth?

Sure, sell some parts from it, make up the $1500 then pay someone $300 to haul off the rotted carcass. Pile of junk isn't even worth $1500.
