Custom Eggcrate Grill

Just finished installing my $13.00 custom eggcrate grill. Used 2 packages of truck door edge guard from Pep Boys. Horizontal pieces very easy to install...used left-over material and cut one
inch pieces with tin snips to fit the vertical slats in the grill.

What are Tin snips? And what brand of door liner is everyone using. I got some at O'reilly, but I want to make sure I get the best thing for the job.
