If you live closer to Pasadena then try Performance Nissan on the 210 at the 605, great service. Ask for Henry, real nice guy.

If you live closer to Burbank then go to Universal City Nissan, I used to go there when I lived in Glendale really good service. I don't like Glendale Nissan even though it's owned by Morrie Sage who owns Universal City Nissan.

Take a look at that thread. I went to performance and the service writeup guy drove my car for 20 miles to make sure the rattle they "Fixed" was gone. The rattle was still there... Guess it was just a joy ride. The first check engine light was diagnosed by them as a "computer stutter" where the computer crashed and just reset itself but needed the dealer to turn off the light... My friend uses Glendale Nissan for her pathfinder, and she said service was good there. But their sales department sucks nuts. (Tried to rip me off 8 months ago when I was pre-ordering). Universal Nissan might be good, but they're slightly further.

As I got a great deal on my 95 Maxima from Performance Nissan, I was planning on ordering my Z from there... Until I found out that they were the one of the few So Cal dealers that was charging a $2000 markup

Well Universal City Nissan isn't too far from Glendale, just take the 134W exit Forest Lawn keep going till you hit Barham, make a left. Go till you pass over the 101 then make a right (You gotta go right or left / dead end ahead) and you're there after .5 miles.

a_p... Yea, i had two cars ordered, one from El Monte and one from Performance. El monte wasn't adding markups but the color I ordered I didn't like so much (chrome silver on gray leather). I ended up taking the Performance Nissan one (Chrome silver on black leather) because of the color. There was originally a 2K markup but they managed to work around it for us after some lengthy discussions. Real good salespeople there...Unfortunately I can't say the same for some of their service department.
