But yeah, I dont know what it is, but my Z gets real bad reception. Maybe its the area, but my old Infiniti I30 did alot better (it had the in-glass antenna).

Any ways to improve this? Do our stock antennas just suck??

 

well reception in my 03 brickyard was great.....but my 04 superblack fades in and out in certain places

 

i have the worst reception on mine

 

With the stock antenna I recieve stations far away from DFW. Awesome reception, but with my shorty reception blows. I really only listen to cd's and music dvd's though.

 

Since I replaced the stock antenna on my '03 Z with a Honda S2000 unit my reception has improved. It was fair to good with the stock antenna.
