I admit I haven't been in an RX8 yet but seeing them on the road or in parking lots, they look like cheap Pontiac concept Sunfires or sumthin. To even compare one to a G35 let alone a Z is nutz, why don't you get a Saturn.

RX-8 looks like a Mazda 6, and even more like the Mazda 3 Coupe. Even Mazda said that the RX-8 is not a replacement for the RX-7..... rrriiggghhtttt sure looks like it was an attempt to be though

I have owned several Z-cars over the years, thats why my wife is looking at one.....but you guys really need to look hard at the RX-8 it is sweet........drive one and you will agree.
I have a 25 year old Z in the garage with just 30,000 miles on it....anybody want to see pictures?

Id buy an Rx-8. Kinda silly to come here now and ask what we think. Most everyone here will say the Z is better. If you wanna trade cars, PM me and make the wife happy.

I think everyone here is not reading me......I have had several Z's and still have the old one...I bought a new RX-8 and love it......my wife wants a new Z for her (not me) I just wanted to know if everyone was happy....I see many unhappy people in RX-8 forums and this Z-forum....What is the single biggest problem with the Z.......the single biggest problem with the RX-8 is gas mileage.

I think it's Only the Tire Feathering for most people that drives it hard. Maybe it won't be a problem for your wife if she doesn't drive it hard
I'm sure the Transmission problem has been revised. So other than that No problem at all.

Well I'm not sure how the 04 z's are doing but a problem I still get is the rattling. I'm not sure if I have the tranny problem or not, but I know I've never had the tire feathering problem and I do drive hard. The front brakes do dust a lot but it's an easy fix to just get Hawk HPS pads. Other than that, I love my baby

Suggest anyone with an RX8 push hard on the front fender .... I dented one when I went to look at them at the dealership. Also it's not important to everyone but I wanted an AT ..... the RX8 AT is a dog. I once owned an RX7 and loved it except that the wheels corroded during the first year it was on the road.
