Angry Bose noise-compensation problems

What's the REAL story on this noise-compensation technology with the Bose system in the Touring version? I've seen quite a bit of very negative info basically saying that it doesn't work worth a damn unless you are sitting perfectly still. At speed the system apparently sounds lousy. What's the latest on this? Has Nissan, Bose, who manufacturers the amplifier and the speakers or Clarion, who manufacturers the radio and (?) the CD changer said anything definitive about the problem and what "they" are going to do to fix the problem?

From what I know, there's only been acknowledgement of the problem from Nissan and Bose. I'd suggest doing a search of the posts on this forum. There are plenty of threads that go into detail about that problems people have had.
