I agree, this is a creative (and fun) thing to do on this site. It also gives you direct and immediate feedback of what people think of your posts/threads.

Does anyone know how to check your points other than trying to rate yourself (which you obviously cannot do) and seeing who posted for/against you? I am curious if there is a way to see how you have received your points.
It would be nice to see which posts yielded points and which posts removed points. This would be a good way to gauge other users reactions to your posts. It could be a way to improve your social etiquette.
