this is kind of a cool thread. really lets you in on the personality of the owner. have the six disc changer so here are the ones in the deck

1)outkast: rotate between the love below, speaker box, and stankonia
2)Beastie Boys: self made Anthology album: rotate the two discs here
3)Tool: Anemia
4)Tool: Undertow
5)Janes Addiction: Rotate out Jane Says and the latest
6)Frank Sinatra: The gold album greatest hits

In reserve above the visor I have the typical bump music to crank with the windows down when the weather gets nicer like Notorious BIG, 2Pac, Tribe Called Quest, Dizzee Rascal, and for the cruising music some Talking Heads. As you can see I pretty much like all music that doesnt "TWANG" (country).

I have always loved threads like this

Right now in my car (yeah, laugh it up now, I am ALL over the place

1. Living End - Modern Artilery
2. G Unit - Beg for Mercy
3. The Mars Volta- De-Loused In The Comatorium - and just as a side note, all you Led Zepplin, Rush, Pink Floyd fans, this is a CD you really must get - I am a music person at heart, always have been, and this is the first CD that totally blew me away since "Nevermind" and "Ten"....it's THAT inventive IMHO.

4. Yeah Yeah yeahs - just the single for MAPS right now - totally digging that song for some reason!

5. Nine Inch Nails - Fixed

6. Alien Ant Farm - truANT

7. Gladiator Soundtrack

I got a few others thrown in the car too that I rotate - the new INCUBUS is a bit week though there are 2 really good tracks on it (I forget the names).

rancid
hippos
millencolin
weezer
...and a few hundred more

people still use cd's? you just end up listening to the same things over and over again (isn't that what radio is for?). i have ALL of my music in the z, no cd-shuffling needed. besides, sometimes you need random things like 5 hours of oakenfold, the street fighter 2 ken stage music, an audio book, or the trogdor theme, and you're probably not going to have those in your cd collection.

check the sig for details.

Some people actually do prefer them to compressed music. And if I could fit a turntable in the Z, I would. Such better quality than anything digital.

MARS VOLTA!!!!!!!! ALL THE WAY... SUCH A GOOD, FRESH sound compared to mainstream crap that's being produced these days....

although i dont' understand what the hell they are saying....

Deltron 3030 and Blackstar (mos def & talib kweli) couple of the best hip hop albums

mtv sucks forever

radio: KJAZZ 88.1 is the only radio station i ever listen to : something about jazz that just makes my day a little better...

people who just scoff jazz as bland elevator music have no appriciation for music! and i think most of the talents today's generation of musicians do not compare to the generation fo my parents (vocal-wise)

i feel so old already.... - 21 years old this year.
