So, I usually keep everything on auto, but I noticed the other day that the left **** has 6 indications (Auto, vent, floor, mix, floor/defrot, defrost), but 8 positions on the ****. The extra two are towards the end... Maybe I missed it in the manual, but what are the extra positions? Do they bias the mixed modes moire towards one mode or the other?

The extra 2 positions are for front and rear brake cooling.

Mine left button only has the 6 positions, plus you toggle the rear window defroster on and off by pushing the button. My build month was November 2003.

The 6 cyclinder models all have 6 positons and the 8 cylinders have 8. Doesnt that make sense, though ?


No , seriously they all have eight, some havent noticed there is a position between 4 and 5 and a position between 5 and 6 which in reality is not between 4 and 5 and 5 and 6 but are positions 5 and 7
