Again Zeroday, you're making things up. I never stated that Nissan tricked you into buying a Touring 6MT. I never stated that the G35 6MT is everything a touring Z and more. I never stated that touring/Track Z owners are stupid for buying those respective models....etc.

I stated that the G35 6MT is the better overall package. It's better in certain aspects than the Z Touring 6 MT and worse in others. That's what I'm saying !!! Why don't you quote me there.

Yes, the G35 6MT was probably an afterthought. A pretty damn nice afterthought !! One of Car and Driver's best 10 afterthoughts. Motor Trend's 2003 Car of the year afterthought. It's unfortunate that the G35 6MT has stolen some of the Z's spotlight.

what makes the g35c 6MT better than the Z? well that question is to whos owning the car.. for the 40 yr old who wants the 350z look hell have a smoother ride (loses better handling) and also has a backseat (more weight) now if u go to a 25 yr old whos looking for a real sports car.. the 350z is better.. but as i stated the 40 yr old who wants the more "luxury" the name, backseat, and smoother ride.. the g35 is better.. so its all preference... i am the young i want fast and best handling 2 seater so i think the 350z is better but if u want more room, and a smoother ride.. then the g35c is better.. and to me that makes the most snese what i just said

You hit the nail 350Zrunnin12s ! One car is better than the other in certain situations.

Too bad you have people like Zeroday running around taking shots at everyone.... "i gotta say the g35 owners on this site are for the most part arrogant and clueless" .

i call it like i see it. this has been my experience; and you misquoted me.. I said 'most'' i.e. people like yourself. you are clearly biased towards the g35 and your thinly veiled attempts to make yourself look objective are pathetic.

Yeah, hook ups on car parts. But with your attitude, I wouldn't give you any kind of deals.

What makes me a noob? Explain this one...

nice! 2 awards, its good to see the our shadows getting an award let alone 2!!! But have you seen how many awards the 350z has won since its first year? Get real its like overflow, the G is a nice car and I considered it for a nanosecond but I wanted a REAL sportscar. The G35 is the shell of a a V35 Skyline without the performance of a Skyline. Why not take this opportunity go back to your G forum and keep telling yourself that getting your "practical" G was the right choice

That's the stupidest thing i've ever read. The G35c holds .92G's on the skidpad, the Z holds .87. The G35 is also more aerodynamic to the Z, lacks 7 ponies which can be remedied with a 50 dollar intake duct and has SUPERIOR service and a better warranty... all at the same price similarly equipped (6MT Touring vs G35C 6MT) The 350Z at the Base and Enthusiast level is a VERY good value for the money as it is only 3-4k more than an RSX-S, but as you start hitting into the Touring/Track trim, it begins to lose its price advantage.
I've owned BOTH the 350Z and now the G35C 6MT, and can make a fair unbiased assessment. The only notable difference between the two cars in terms of driving feel is that the Z is lower to the ground and the suspension is slightly stiffer. If you are considering a touring/track 350Z, why not get the best of both worlds and get a g35c? Sunroof, rear seats, larger trunk space, better looking stock wheels (opinion) and loaner cars. This is of course, only my opinion, and I don't expect everyone to agree with me.

haha i know right zero.. glad to see u got a 14.142@101.12.. i sure as hell hope it wasnt with Plenum, Z-tube, K&N, Pulleys, Grounding Kit, RT Cats, cause if a Z had that it is easily into the 13s.. but hey wait, like u said everything is like the exact same! 14.14 compare to a z with that can easily get 13.7s bc pple r getting high 13s with the z stock. i have seen forums and the g35c no where near hits 13s stock as much as the Zs r gettin.. so why is this?

you guys are so childish

No car is "better" than the other. It's all personal preference. Someone who is looking for a track car is not gonna care about a sunroof, which adds unnecessary weight and reduces headroom. Someone who will never track their car and has 2 kids will not want a two seater.

When it gets down to it, it's the same car! Why are you arguing? Two different market niches, but the same car otherwise. Performance is very similar.

Be happy with what you bought, don't come to some board to get some sort of reassurance for your purchase.

I TOTALLY AGREE! (minus the part where you called us all childish )

my comments were soley in response to cheever's 1st presumptuous comment in this thread. i honestly like both cars; each has their purpose...I happen to prefer the z.

Oh, I was just responding to your first comment asking why would anyone consider a G over a Z....

What's up Zeroday? Last week you were arguing that the G was nothing like the Z.... Change of heart?

I agree with Meeno. You agree with Meeno. One big happy family.

I don't intend to track my car. Hence, I like the G35.

If you have the slightest clue about drag racing, look at the 60 ft.
Also, there are less g35c 6mts on the road than Z's. Way less.
