Alignment before new shoes?
Are you guys putting new wheels and tires on having an alignment done just for good measure. I have an 03, but its still under 5k, nso no telling if theres feathering yet.
Also if I do go to an alignment shop, are the specs they have on file the same bad specs that CAUSE the feathering, or were the Feathering Z's just inproperly aligned to begin with?

Read my post under "2004 Z - Enthusiant (pulling to right)." I just put 3k worth of rims & tires and had the alignment checked that day, only 1 month after doing alignment before. I have decided to do alignment at every other oil change just for peace of mind. My specs were way off from the factory and would've ruined my tires if not caught. I'll be damned if I let that happen on my new ones!
Most dealers have what it considered the updated alignment specs - toe @ .04 all around.

Alignment was perfect the second time around - just wanted to make sure with the new shoes. As far as I know, dealers should have the latest specs - they've had enough problems they ought to know - ha!
As for future alignments, I just want to make sure it stays on spec at every other oil change. Too many $$ on my tires to take a chance. Worth a little extra $$ at service time for my peace of mind, you know?
