Yeah, that's actually really easy to do. He's going to cut off the part of the pics with the dates. Think of it as taking a real photo and cutting the bottom off with a pair of scissors. Here's a really quick job using MSPaint just to give you an idea.

I imagine he'd do a better job, make sure the car is centered and all.

Default PPW ALL THE WAY!

So many people have complimented my PPW, I know I made the right choice! For real, all the colors are sweet...

What I will say about the PPW is that it is THE hottest color at night, b/c of the pearl effect paint. Other companies charge extra for this kind of paint.

Plus PPW is unique....no offense to the silvers, but they are really common. The red is tight, but I don't like that much attention. Lemans just doesn't fit my personality...and black cars really don't stand out..plus black paint is impossible to keep nice unless you devote your life to it.

Just my $.02, although you really can't go wrong with any color

Colekatz- Any pics of your Lemans and your buddies PPW together??? Cause that would really help, and I too agree with everyone that Superblack and orange interior are a must if I go with that color. Thanks for the suggestions

If you're comparing the pictures of the last two on page 2 to mine on the top of page 3 (this page), they're the same color for both years. LeMans is the kind of color that changes in all kinds of lighting. I like it best when it's early in the morning, but it looks good all the time

Yea that is what I am referring too. hehe

now my comment about colors - I went to shop around for a z with my older friend - he had the 300z so he was really enthusiastic about me getting z - (z mania goes long ways).

We saw the La Mans and he said that the color is ugly. I kind of liked it, but not so much that I would be crazy about it. Then I was at work and I was telling my coworker about the trip and I was showing him some pictures of La Mans - and he too had said that it's ugly. I personally like it as much as Silverstone, but seeing all these other ppl giving negative feedback made me triple think about what color to pick. I also liked ppw but got the comment that it's girly color (sorry mates just being honest - if it helps I like ppw as well), and then I got Silverstone ¡VI had never regret it.

And then - I was passing street one day after parking on the opposite side of the road and I see something blue coming down the hill. Never until then did I have hoots for blue - but boy did that car look good on the road. Much better than in the show room. To late for regrets, although I would probably again pick Silverstone (but that is not all that matters-„³). When I drive next to bmw z4 - they are checking me out - not the other way around - and when I get sick of it - 4th - 5th - Z U.

One quick note on the SB with Burnt Orange interior. When I first went shopping for a Z I had my heart set on the SB with Burnt Orange because it had that Ferrari type look to it. But when I saw it in the daytime, the Orange seats looked kinda plastic/toyish (if thats a word). Still looked good but it looked strange enough for me to ultimately decide on a PPW/Charcoal Combo. The reason I got the Charcoal was because if I ever decided to re-paint my car another color in the future, the Charcoal seats would go with almost anything (i.e. Yellow/Charcoal, Red/Charcoal). Now if I got the Burnt Orange seats, the Yellow/Burnt Orange and Red/Burnt Orange would look kinda ridiculous IMO.

Personally I dislike black because it hides the car's natural lines (due to the high reflections) PPW is ok but kinda plain. I'd go with the blue in a heartbeat out of those choices.

Myself... I'd find it hard to decide between Daytona Blue, Silverstone, And Lemans Sunset.

it's seems that ppl here have good taste...ppw and le mans are the two i'm torn with. this is my first post here...i usually post at s2ki.com. i guess i'm on the _shift bandwagon now that i've recently changed my mind from s2k(which i still love)and now about to buy the z.

I think it depends on your personality. Lemans is meant to draw a lot of attention and it's great at that. But I would feel silly driving an older car in that color. The White is more subdued - to the point at which it won't garner many second glances from pedestrians. That's fine, b/c my Z gets plenty of admiration from me every time I park it. :-) I upgraded from an S2k as well...happy to have made the switch.

Torque...it's what's for dinner!

i'll have to agree with the sparkman...LEMANS is the REPRESENTIVE COLOR OF THE Z...and because of that...i personally think it's "history color"...very bold, bright color they chose especially in the run video with the sun rising...it was "perfect."...but the "the run" video could have been done better!~

i like silver zs because there's more uniformity of color with the handles, rims, gas cap, exhaust, etc.

There definitely has to be some orange in there somewhere.....whether its inside or outside. Now that I've seen all these Lemans pics.....it looks damn sharp!!!
I just think that black is all about reflections. Its the most reflective color....and the deepest color (as long as it's not metalic). Good luck with your choices!!
