Default Greetings...

A quick hello to the forum. I'm picking up my "used" 2003 Redline Track Pack with 275 kms tomorrow on my lunch... am giddy with anticipation. Couple of quick questions... ya, I should get off my a$$ and do a search...

1) What are the popular mods? RAM Air? Exhaust? What's the biggest bang for the buck on this car?

2) What's do you suggest for a break-in period? Duration? Max RPMs/speed?

Thank you.

250 km means dealers use the car for a lot of testdrives. And I bet they didn't care a bit about proper break-in, which is to keep it uner 4000rpm till 1200 miles or 1800km.

Make sure you mention it to a dealer that you know what's going on and make sure you get a very good price because you break-in is already messed up... not some MSRP bs.

I got a song and dance about the history of the car being bought, then turned in because the guy got transferred two days later. The car was in the middle of the showroom and all test drives were being conducted on a aluminum performace package Z.

I got $7000CDN off the sticker price, hopefully that's reasonable. And I bought the 6-year/100,000km comprehensive coverage... that should cover any potential problems.

I picked it up 11am this morning... it's killing me that I've got to work till 4:30... guess I've got to pay for the car somehow.

Although, from the 1/2 hour drive...

Also, you may not believe this, but I'm getting alot more of the right attention than I did in my Mazda Protege5.
