Hey Tako and all other folks attending the Bay Area (Palo Alto) event on this coming weekend...

Are there any plans for Saturday? How many of you will be here for the weekend? We could find a park on Saturday and bar-be-cue or something....

I would be willing to head up that effort if folks are interested. That will give us plenty of time to see the cars in broad daylight. Also, Cazzzz is a professional photographer and will be bringing up his photo and video equipment. Pictures look much better in daylight and evening.

Maybe we can even re-write "The Fast & The Furious" and take those Honda M2000s down, once and for all. Just joking.

U know what is funny to me is some kid that rolls up on me with a Civic, that might have costed $10,000 back in '94, they go see a movie, then put bout $15,000 of they college fund into that Civic, then wanna come up on the side of me & rev they engine.. People, its still a Civic, U might not have wanted to use the college fund that way, a little extra schooling would have told U that if U take that money & the Civic, & apply it to a down payment, U might could have come up with a 350Z, or some kinda real car.. Sorry, just off on a tangent.. But the dinner & the picnic should be a blast..

The only thing it will do is get Tako a bit more money. Why do you think hes planning this event? He wants as many people as possible to come to buy food at his restaurant and also have everyone meet up and talk about their cars. Its a win win for him. So, with that said...i'm sure he won't mind if I put an extra few bucks in his pocket.
