Default Right-Hand Drive 350Z

Hey, does anyone know how to actualy get a right hand drive Z. I know they get direct imports in Australia but one website said they were $65,000 American and I searched Nissan in Australia but it was just a cheap looking website. I figure that if you have the down payment and in the area (if I were to visit) I would just get a right hand drive Z. But are they realy that expensive over there? Anyways, if anyone knows any websites or has any info that would be cool. Thanks

I really don't think it is worth the $$$ and all that. There really isn't much major difference between the RHD and the LHD. I also heard the exhaust manifold is a bit different so if you do get RHD, you'll need headers made for RHD. I may be wrong though.

I answered in another post but to summarise here for anyone that may be interested a 6MT roadster at current exchange rate is US$53k. Add shipping etc and you're probably looking at doubling the cost of buying one locally.

LaoSiFu, you're correct about the headers. The LHD ones won't work due to clearance problems.

The cheapest source would be to get one from Japan.

Not clear if you want to get a RHD for use here (why?) or you are off to Australia.

The UK price is the same as Australia, but would be for the top spec and includes sales tax at 17.5%.

I was told that the specs on "direct imports" are a little more high than what they come down to be in The USA yet with the shipping and tax you could do much too it anyways as of parts. I didn't know that about the headers. Just courious. Thanks for the quick responces, too. It realy helped
