Question Chrome Grill Strips?

I was thinking about getting some for my SB as a cheaper alternative to grilles out there? Anyone have any or know anythin about them? I was thinking about getting these:

mine look like that, and cost me $12 at pepboys. they're just truck door guards that u cut to fit.

just did the same today......looks great (go to pepboys). I used lack zip ties to hold one the molding at the very end (after the curve) this worked well you cant even see the zip ties

the ones i got had self sticking stuff inside, so when u put it on, it sticks to the grill
