I'm missing half the value of my car!
What I mean is the chassis half. I live in a pretty congested area (I think the most densely populated state??). And we don't really have too many curvy or mountainous roads. But today, I took my car into a wooded area that winds up the side of the Watchung mountains, and got on it. The roads were relatively empty due to the holiday. Man, was it fun!!
This was the most aggressive session I've had in my car. And it was all gas and brakes from turn to turn. And in such a twisty environment, I enjoyed the amount of power that the Z has for the first time since I've had the car. It was an entirely different driving experience than I could get otherwise on the streets around my town.
So for all of you that live in a place where you can have this type of drive on a regular basis, enjoy it!!

I actually have a few friends in a Miata club. They let me be an "honorary member" and I go on car cruises with them when I can. They all love the Z, and it hadles as well as the little Miatas do. Those guys LOVE the back roads with lots of twisties and hills.
I HAVE learned to not put down the Miata too much. My best friend has a turbo Miata that can REALLY carve those corners and puts down over 250 rwhp. It a light weight car, the turbo spools and it REALLY takes off.
Still, I LOVE all the attention the Z gets from the Miata owners. There are more than a few that are jealous.
