I am looking to buy the mini antenna that is shown on the Courtesy Nissan page but they are out of stock. Does anyone know where else I might find this type of antenna?

Did you try Ebay? I saw a few on there the other day.

 

don't buy the one from courtesy nissan. the resecption sucks. There are a couple of them on ebay that are better, and cheaper.

 

You could go to a Honda dealership and pick up a S2000 antenna for about $20. I've heard the reception is still pretty good and it's only about 4" long.

 

The Honda one is 7" long and the reception is just as good as with the factory one.

 

"Ditto" comments on Courtesy Antenna! You might try the Perrin Antenna @ jscspeed.com. Looks good, short and great reception.

I got the JDM Altezza antenna from ebay... great buy

 

You can have mine. I live in rural VA and couldn't pick up anything with it installed. I imagine it's better if you live in a more urban setting.

Exactly, what do you need to listen to the radio for. I hear nothing but crap on the radio. The S2000 antenna looks great, has a nice shape to it. Mine was only $14 off some Honda site on the internet.

 

Get the S2000, it is very short and only 7". The stock antenna is over 1 ft 4 inches long. I drove to the Honda dealer and they had them in stock. Good reception also.

No! Lived in Korea for about 15 years and Japan 2. Sung Nam is a GC in Korea I managed, while Tama Hills is a GC I managed in Japan. Both GREAT countries and courses.

I'll let you all know if its worth it when it arrives. I'm not worried about reception since I have XM, just hope it looks good and fits no problem.

I think Bat has the same thing on his roof, but he also has an antenna behind the rear view mirror to help reception.

 

My friend had a golf and he just swapped the same antenna just to see how it turned out, but personally thought it was too short for the Z and the S2000 looks better. The reception sounds pretty good with those.

 

I got the shorty aluminum antenna from Courtesy. Reception's not bad. $20.
