A guy I work with here in Dallas just got a Redline Track model with Navigation. He got in a little late and was scheduled to get one in January, but he found one on a lot around town ready to go. I have not asked him if was able to get MSRP or not yet.
I've been telling him about my350z.com for a while now, but he has not yet stopped by. He doesn't seem quite as excited about his Z as the rest of you all are. He doesn't seem to be as interested in it as I am, and I don't even own one!
Well, maybe he'll come around after he drives it for a few more days.

Z clubs - Dallas!
Everyone - there is already a Z Club in the Dallas area if you don't alreayd know. The Z Club of Texas is the second largest Z Club in the US, with over 400 members. Meetings are the third Thursday of every month (except December) at Juan's Cantina on Central Xpresswy.

IMO, the best ZCOT event is the Fall driver event at Hallett Racing Circuit in Hallett, OK. Very affordable and the track is a blast. Lots of off-camber turns.
ZCOT needs to expand for a Spring and Fall driving event there, IMO.

I joined ZCOT but I haven't been to any meetings. I can't see them being much fun unless I knew a bunch of people there. I really wanted to do Hallet this fall but I knew my Z wouldn't be here that soon. Next year I will be there but I agree they need more events like this.

Odrer Today
Just placed my order today at Bankston across from Valley View. I hope they're faithful. Enthusiast 6 sp. Lemans Sunset, kickplates, floor, cargo mats, Aero package. The dealer tried to sell me the clear coat/scotch guard package. He said I needed it in case the paint chipsmor cracks. 995$.00 I told him never mind and he took it off the invoice. He just came back with the invoice for mte to sign and said like "oh, by the way all of our cars go out the door with this". I don't think so. What about you? I also wonder if I should have gone with 'safer' color. I'm told the car will be here in Feb. or March.

I would, however, check out the service dept. at that Bankston. If it's anything like the one in Lewisville, run like hell the other way. But Lewisville isn't all bad, I did like their guy in charge of ordering Zs.

All I gotta say is, if you're in Dallas or nearby, the ONLY place to get your Z from is Courtesy Nissan in Richardson. They will treat you like a King. No bs paint protectant, and no other smoke blowing. They give everything to you straight. From the day I ordered on, they kept me informed of everything going on, and knew exactly when my car was coming in. Plus I got all kinds of free Z goodies from them. Plus their service dept is tip top, and they have one of only 10 Z stores in the nation. Go check them out!
