This is scary!!
Car at the dealers? Worrying about the test drive of your vehicle? Check out this thread from another (mustang) forum:
First the moron that abuses a customer's car brags about it in detail:
http://forums.mustangworks.com/showt...5&pagenumber=1
Then he gets caught and the owner starts this amazing thread on another forum:
http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...threadid=19809
Interesting reading!
(This makes me really question my wisdom on bringing the car in with a vibration and telling them it only happens at 6,000 RPM: kind of gives them a license to go nuts!)

I read a good portion of that post... talking about spreading paranoia through the performance car community... especially with what's happened to Abyss here. I'm dreading the thought of taking my car in for my first scheduled service...
Wow, I posted this before reading about Abyss's ordeal, but it's spooky that he might have had a similar thing happen.
I hope everyone really trusts the people at their dealerships, and make sure to record the mileage before and check it afterwards. For the most part, a bit of hard driving shouldn't do much harm (I don't drive it that easy myself) but if they're grinding gears and smoking clutches and tires, that can cost you!
