What Should I Do
I ordered my Z January 14th. I was told it would go into production at the end of March and be delivered my early to mid May. Nissan Japan just informed Nissan North America who informed my dealer that my Z won't arrive until early July. That's two whole extra months, and a big chunk of the summer... the summer is the whole reason I was buying the car. I'm super dissappointed... I don't even know how to handle this situation. I was nice to my dealer, but I feel like I just got shafted big time. I'm not sure I even want to buy the car anymore... But if I do, I'm going to have to ask for money off... because in my book, this kind of screw up is unacceptable and should be reconciled for.
Any ideas?

Sorry to hear about your situation. Looks like the dealer dropped the ball and didn't place the order for the car like they said they would. Is the Z in the color/options you want available from any other dealer in Chicago? Or in another state nearby? Give them a week or 2 at the most to find your car. If they don't come through, get your deposit back and look somewhere else. Don't give up on the Z!!

Unfortunately, mine is one of a kind being produced this year before the 2005's go into production August 2nd. That's what my biggest problem probably is... I could just as well drop my order and place an order for an 2005 with the same specs... probably get it in November or so...
This just sucks...
