Thumbs up Finally saw one in person - silver in Gainesville, GA

It was a silver one in Gainesville, GA. He was coming out of a ricer shop called The Toy Store at 17:45 Tuesday evening.

The instant I saw it I thought it was a 350Z, even though I only saw the nose. Then as I got a look at its profile, I knew it for sure.

It was a fine-looking automobile.

I'm actually bit surprised that you think they look nice. Many domestic guys I know think it looks like an Audi TT and they don't like TT's. I guess driving a turbo I-6 makes you a little different from the others eh?

For the record, I thought they looked like an Audi TT in the pictures. IMO, in person, the lines follow the natural evolution from the 300ZX (mind you, the 300ZX was a radical departure from the original shape). Too bad it just so happens that the lines are similar between the 350 and TT.

Anyway, you know, you could always wait a year or two when and if the mods come out and maybe ping your wife about it...

Michael.

Just because I own three domestics, and just because domestics are all I've ever owned, that doesn't make me a domestic guy. I think of myself as an auto enthusiast.

In fact, a while ago I tried talking my wife into getting a WRX.

I like and would be glad to own (in no particular order) a...
  • 350Z
  • WRX
  • Supra
  • BMW M3
  • BMW M5
  • Mercury Marauder
  • '03 Cobra
  • Mach 1
  • Corvette
  • Lighting
  • Dodge SRT-10
  • Ford Falcon
  • The alleged up-coming new GTO/GNX
  • '89 Turbo Trans Am
  • Etc...

And I have a car with a turbo-charged V6.

Anyway, you know, you could always wait a year or two when and if the mods come out and maybe ping your wife about it...
I think I start my own corporation and let the company buy it.
