Default Here's a crazy idea.

I noticed alot of people who have a Clear-bra are quite happy. No worrying about rock chips, scratches, dings, etc......

Soooo,

Why not get the WHOLE car covered in the vinyl material (clear-bra material)? I mean, what can be the downsides to it? You'll prolly never have to wax again, no worries about people egging your Z....

It struck me when I was waxing my car this past weekend, my bumper looks like it has an acne problem....

discuss.

That's exactly it. It's very much cost prohibitive (I asked the same question during my install). And even though I love mine, it isn't bullet-proof. After about 8 months I've got about three chipped areas that were completely covered by the bra beforehand.

Once the clear-bra is put on, can it come off if need be?

Sure, but it's not a DIY project. The clear bra is affixed using an adhesive, so it would be best removed by an authorized 3M dealer.

or i have a better idea. how about nissan makes ALL 350z's manufactured.... bulletproof and dentproof. and also just as fast. man that would be one sweet car. it's like a fort. ahah the 350z needs at least the dent resistent side panels.. did anyone see the saturn ION commercial? a grip of things i just crashing into the door and it's dent free. people throwing basketballs, other cars ramming into it, a person with a bike runs right into the side... and results? NO dents... and i don't think any scratches.. awesome.
