You have the option of keeping TWO trip mile counters: A and B.

If you hit the counter button it will switch back and forth from A to B so you can start your position at another point/ destination without disrupting or resetting the other one.

Nope, you can't turn it off. They offer you two trip odometers so you can use one to track your trip mileage, and one to track your tank mileage. At least that's the way I do it.

I use B to track mileage since my last oil change. No annoying window stickers.

But the oil change window stickers are good for an extra 10+ hp easy.
