Honda Civic Hybrid-Electric Antenna

With this talk about using an S2k's antenna for better looks, has anyone tried the super long Civic Hybrid's antenna in hopes of better reception?

If you don't mind me asking, but why? I don't think a longer antenna would do the Z any justice. I'm assuming you would get better reception, but think about the looks as well.
