recirc air

This happens to me. I figure, recirc is really only good when you want the AC to get going quickly, or when it smells outside.
I guess...why would you want to have recirc stuffy air?!?!!

yup
normally recirc implies either you need lots of cooling, or will soon need dehimidifying - both of which are done via the A/C.
The one cool thing I notice about the climate control (in general I'm not impressed) is the option where you press the fresh/recirc button for a few seconds, then the system automatically selects fresh or recirc for you. So, when you start the car and it's really hot, it turns on high fan with recirc on the A/C, quickly getting you the coldest air possible. THe only downside is the recirc air is hotter than the outside air at startup on a hot day, remember to roll your windows down for the first couple minutes. Then again, I don't know why I'm worried about hot days because they rarely happen here in Seattle. lol
Buit it was cool to see the A/C shift from recirc to fresh air as the cabin cooled, (and also reducing the fan speed automatically).
One last ***** - the amount of noise generated by the climate control system fan sucks. I think it should pump out more air with less noise, but then again this isn't a luxury car.

Actually the main reason I like to use recirculate is not smell the exhaust from the SUV in front of me that won't get over...hehe! But seriously, I really hate not being able to use recirculate even with vent on...could do this on every other car I've owned (300ZX, Galant, Cavalier, etc.).
