Whew! I thought we had been infiltrated by a DEALER!!!

In the future, you may want to use this icon after statements like that:

I know, but sometimes laziness gets the better of me. Hey, at least I use punctuation and something akin to English. I've noticed that some of the posts lately are incomprehensible.

I had it done......biggest rip off ever,Its a teflon coat thats sprayed on its suposed to guard against ultraviolet, salt swirls, bird crap, and a bunch of other stuff, bird crap still stains so get it off straight away.It doesent work dont do it, a good polish it much better, It cost's about $10 in materials to apply,It cost me the worst $400 I'v ever spent, same with the scotch guard they apply inside the door trims look like crap it looks like they have just wiped armourall all over the inside of your car.

I purchased this for a new 2014 Sierra 4WD in White Diamond finish. Fine print says nothing about me doing anything. THEY will re-apply the same material each year for the first 3 years of the 5 year contract - both inside and outside. If there is a problem, the will repair or replace the affected area. Maybe this has changed. I fully agree that everything the dealer sells pads their pockets...even this. But because of the color and type of vehicle I purchased this time, I wanted the extra protection. Also, I had them almost crying at the end of our negotiations so I guess I felt kind of sorry for them.

Holy thread revival, almost 10 years! Lol.

Anyways, fresh outta high school I went to work in the detail shop at a local dealer. They called it the "pro pack" and it was a product called "first place finish". It's just some cheap thin wax and a couple sprays of scotch guard on the carpet (and seats if cloth). About $20 worth of supplies and it took us less than an hour. Total ripoff at any cost more than $50 or so.
