Question Fatmat in trunk area only or not?

I'm looking to cut the interior noise of my Z somewhat and thinking of buying a Fatmat eXtreme trunk kit. Are these guys still ok to do business with other than being a somewhat slow?

I'm thinking of just lining the trunk and under the spare tire area. I took the spare out and looked around and noticed everything is in there fairly snug. If I line the trunk bottom and around the sides, does the spare and the board still fit ok?

I'm thinking of doing that area, the exposed metal areas in the rear and that's about all. I really am not inclined to taking apart the hatch and doors and putting Fatmat in there. Would I still get some noise reduction?

I used about 60 sq ft of Fat Mat between the trunk area, and area behind the seat. It made a dramatic difference! I didn't do the hatch, but did pull off all plastic facia in the back. I also lined the area under the glove box and sub enclosure. Highly recommend it.
