Default 1 Year Anniversary

Okay, so I have 1 hour to go until exactly 1 year ago I purchased my Z. I tried to leave it at 3000 miles but couldn't resist driving the Z the last few weeks.

Its been a long wonderful year except for the Car Toys experience and the clear bra experience at the dealer.

My wife thinks I am nuts. She asked why I was taking this picture, and I was like, well dear, its the Z's 1 year anniversary.

I kinda felt like the guy on that Volkswagon commercial, where the guy runs in the house and screams for his wife to check this out outside.

She goes outside to the door, and he rolls the windows down on his volkswagon with the OEM remote, then the wife slams the door and goes back inside. Thats how I felt today when I told my wife that. LOL, guess you had to be there.

Congratulations!

I know the feeling. I have 3 weeks to go until my first anniversary and I’m at 4,365. My goal is 5,000 annually and seems it won’t be a problem.

Actually it feels like I drive it a lot. I take her out several times a week, every week end (when the weather is good), and even went on a 1,100-mile trip.

We need to start a thread for LOWEST mileage after a year.

P.S. your Z will never get old at that rate. That's my plan too, yobri......

Congrats on the 1 year anniversary. I already passed mine back on March 25th at 6PM with about 3,800 miles. I'm planning to keep the miles low since I won't be selling ever I'll probably get a beater once the car is paid off.

Wow! Congrats on the one year anniversary--but only 3k miles? She needs to be driven more.

I have my one year anniversary March 8--exactly one week before my one year wedding anniversary. I hit 16k miles yesterday afternoon.

How can you possibily have only 3000 miles in a YEAR?

I've had my Roadster for just 3 months and I have 4000 on it!

Its called a weekend driver. The wife and I live .05 miles from both of our jobs. We don't put many miles on both cars. Mine sits in the garage. We bought the Maxima on 11 Mar 02 and it has 13300 miles as of today.

Interesting. My wife and I BOTH work at home, but still manage to put about 25,000 to 30,000 miles per year on our 3 vehicles. I wish it was less. I'm just amazed, with you living in the beatiful state of Colorado, that you don't have a ton of miles on your cars.

Wow, I think I drive too much. On my Z's one year anniversary, it rolled over 36,000 miles. Almost to the mile. I'm thinking I'm going to do even more this year as I have a few more trips lined up. The Z was built to be driven, and that is what I do.

4,500 miles in 9 months.
I doubt I'll break 6,000 for the year
