Wondering about the age of our Z owners

What the hell does a 15 year old do with a car, sit in it and go vroom, vroom? 'Cause you sure can't drive it at 15. And not be an a-hole, but your parents must be nuts. My daughters are both older than you and they have never so much as driven my Z. You may think you are all bad and stuff but you don't have anything close to the experience to be safe behind the wheel of that car, which is truly unfortuante for the innocent folks around you on the street. BTW - pics of said Nismo?

I dont see anything wrong with buying your kids a car. I will buy my son one when he is old enough. I just think its stupid and very irresponsible on the parents part to buy any sports car for a teen. You are asking for trouble and are putting other peoples lives in danger at the same time. They just dont have the experience behind the wheel regardless of what these children or their dumb parents choose to believe. You are still a child at 17. Some parents just dont do good parenting.

The way I see it is that when a car like that is handed to you the level of appreciation is not near as high as if you spent your own money on it. The chances of you behaving recklessly in it jump exponentially. If you wreck then daddy will just fork out the cash to fix it, right. Hopefully you dont kill anybody in the process. I'm sure you are going to tell me you are the exception though.
My parents got my first car for me also. 86 Corolla. Parents should help their kids get started in life. I totally believe that.
Parents that hand their kid a sports car are completely irresponsible and are more worried about being the cool parents with their kid than they are that very kids life.
When I was a kid I begged for a sports car to be handed to me. It didn't happen, thankfully.

I had a Honda Prelude when I was 15. That was plenty "sporty" enough for me.
Giving a kid a Z is just asking them to show off to their friends by burying it in a ditch.
And half the kids who say they got a Z at 15 are BSing anyways. What they mean is, "My Dad got a Z and I drove it while he was asleep."
