I have two degrees and a career. What you got little man?


I just got back from iraq i have my associates already and working on my bachelors and once again im only 19 know your role before you question someone elses

No offense to the military but going to Iraq does not automatically entitle you to respect.

Seems like it's just the young kids that think that's the case. My grandfather landed on Omaha Beach and never mentioned it EVER.

Thank you for your service to the our country, but how do you figure that you have two degrees? and most people don't count an associate degree. BTW: I don't believe you could go to Iraq, get two degrees and only be 19. By your writing it is obvious that you are not a prodigy.

I am confused, you said you have two degrees. Then you mentioned that you have an associates and are working on your bachelors. By my count that is only one degree.

By the way, what is an associates degree? I have never heard of it.

EDIT: Just looked up associates degree. Word of advice, don't brag about a two year degree to someone who has a masters in nuclear engineering.

I agree with Jeff. Being deployed once doesn't mean sh*t. It makes you that much more of a douchebag if you brag about that one deployment.

Just because you have a degree in the military, doesnt mean you're automatically a commissioned officer, theres more to it than that.

I understand that, but if you've got 2 degrees at 18 years old, you most likely didn't enlist.

Also, leave the military guys alone please - we go to war, come back and want to have fun before we get into the sh*t all over again so most military folks splurge on useless things. Most learn, some don't and from service member to service member. No medals, no decorations entitle any of us to automatic respect with civilians. It's our experience and no-one else's. Personally, I don't talk about my time in the military with anyone other then my fellow service members. Most civilians just don't get what we go through and I like to keep it that way.
