Oh and JHuang01, there's a kid at my gym who got a new GTR on his 17th birthday so he pretty much has everyone beat here
Dang haha lol my parents didn't buy it for me either, I purchased this bad boy myself, I had owned 4 cars earlier but sold all for this one.

I'm 21, bought an 03 Enthusiast with 70k on it last summer. Before the Z I had an e36 m3 (sold for the down payment of the Z) which I bought myself. I paid my Z off the day I bought it, by myself.

Dude how is that possible? I go to school full time taking 21 credit courses and can barely squeeze in 20 hours part time at my job on the weekends. Unless you completely sacrificed your social life and got like 4 hours of sleep a night

Haha yeah thats pretty much it. I'm taking 20 credits, 6.5 hours of school each day. And working 7pm to 7am. But 4 hours of sleep is actually enough because I can catch up on the weekend. Plus some days there wasn't work or I get off early so I can get a couple hours before school. And yeah, no social life right now. I see my girlfriend like once a week. just two more quarters left!

btw wasn't doing that just so i can buy the z lol. I needed money and couldn't pass up the job offer even though it's a lot of hours. But all the overtime paid off and the z was a nice bonus for me

Personally, I'd say you can only choose 1, but I guess that depends upon your idea of "good" grades. BioChem + Hydrology + Physics + GIS mapping + Urban Eco = No sleep, no friends, decent grades.

I know that I'm going to get a lot of criticism over this, however, I am 17. Turning 18 in July, but I couldn't pass up on the deal and the find, so I had my mom sign for the car and everything and am gonna transfer it whenever I turn 18. I am paying my car payment at the moment. Mommy and daddy didn't hand it over to me. I figured I should add all of this to let everyone know that I'm not a typical 17 year old.

I think the high insurance rates on our cars and the high death rates might have something to do with people below the age of 21 getting these cars. Me personally I'm glad I never got it at 17-19 years old because I would of did some stupid stuff that could of contributed to the high insurance rates. 21+ is a perfect age (preferably after you get tired of drinking so much after your 21st birthday) to be mature enough to drive a sports car.
