Wondering about the age of our Z owners
Even if they DID earn it, it's only there because they don't pay for rent/gas/groceries/insurance/cell phone/cable/etc like the rest of us grown ups (or "old farts" as they call anyone over 29).
It's a dead horse, though.

Hard to realize that my first 350Z I bought when I was 21 back in 2003. Went through a 2nd and now on my 3rd now at 32, 11 years later... wow. Was a dumbass to sell 'em. I'll just sit on this one thnx
39... '06 bought in 2008... seeing all the 18-young 20's makes sense why this is the case... and if you can't afford a 2nd vehicle... than you can't afford the Z...
"1. Nissan 350Z 2-door
Topping the list of deadliest cars on the road is yet another Nissan: the two-door 350Z from model year 2005 to 2008. A shocking 143 deaths per million registrations were recorded for the Nissan 350Z drivers during the study period, with 90 deaths per million registrations occurring in single-vehicle crashes.
Chevrolet and Nissan were producing the vehicles involving the highest ratio of driver deaths for a span of four years, with Hyundai and Kia making up the balance. In the course of used car shopping, check the IIHS stats to ensure the safety record of any vehicle."

OK, guess I am an anomaly. Bought my 2003 Touring last year and I am over 50. I have owned a number of sports and sporty cars through the years. First car was a 1960 Austin Healy 3000, followed by a 65 Corvette Coupe (327 manual - sold to buy our first house when I got married). Followed by a Triumph Spitfire as our first married toy. Bought a slightly used 1989 Porsche Targa in 1993 that we still own (95K and almost perfect). Bought the Z as a fun car (read my post in the what your Z cost for details) and regular driver. As we have 5 cars/SUvs/van, utility was not a big issue. Now the interesting thing, we have 9 houses in our little development, and three 350zs, all 2003s,two Touring and one base. The other Touring is owned by a Neighbor who is about 65 and bought it new. The base is owned by the 18 YO son of another neighbor. So our average age is about 46. BTW, the 350z is a great toy, I bought it as a car I could work on for the first time in 30 years and am having a gas moding it.
