But ya, Happy Birthday BigBlue. I got some catchin' up to do but not in a hurry.
On that note, one of age, I spent the past weekend at the races. (SCCA, see other post: https://my350z.com/forum/other-vehic...g-weekend.html ) I noticed something when I compared my experience this time around to when I used to race 30-some years ago. (When it was easier to fit into a Formula car.... laff).
When I was that age, I noticed that a LOT of the owners/drivers were much older and I was the young guy in the paddock. I got along with all of them just fine but did feel a little odd-man-out - despite the fact that I was their trackside go-to guy for Datsun Comp parts.
Welllll, now that I'm about jhc's age (but better looking for my age...snort snort), it turns out the race demographic hasn't changed. There're a lot in their late 40s, 50s and older.
I'm home.
Cheers,
Mic

Age isn't but a useless word: 64... now here's king of age.
But had my first Z back in the late 70's - a 68 Camaro and then my first Z a 260Z, then a 280Z and with 3 duce webbers, then a 911 Porsche, now a 350Z supercharged. And still feeling in the 20's. Fun cars keep me young. This is actually an update to post #3509. SEE - I'm losing my memory already......
