24 here... I had the following cars.
83 Buick Skylark (horribly unreliable, but it was RWD)
95 Mercury Mistake, err, Mistique (even more unreliable, but very comfortable)
88 VW Fox (very reliable, had for 2+ years and it survived all my abuse, very light too, would be awesome in autocross with suspension mods)
06 Tiburon SE (reliable, sexy little car, handles well after basic suspension mods)
And now the 04 Z Roadster!

Rocked a 2000 Prelude for about two and a half years before getting it.
Paid for almost entirely by me. I got about $8k from the Prelude, took out a $15k loan in my name, and put about $3k cash down. Parents loaned me the other $4k to be paid back after college.
