Wondering about the age of our Z owners
after reading many posts in this thread this is my conclusion of this whole thing
people want to know why and how people 17-25 buy a z or how they own one. and even if they say they bought it themselves some of you try and tell them they are lying. why does it matter if someones parents are more fortunate and can buy them nicer cars. where i live the z is not the nicest car around and kids get much nicer cars. but its not your place to tell anyone that they dont deserve anything or parents shouldnt have bought them the car for whatever reason.
ask yourself, does bashing some kid for owning a z make you any more of a person, or does it just show how insecure you really are.
love what you drive and quite crying over kids who are fortunate

Let me help you out here with the math, Tex…
- Kids = inexperienced and/or immature drivers
- Inexperienced and/or immature drivers = accidents
- Accidents = higher insurance rate for all of us
- Accidents = death and/or injuries
- Death and/or injuries = innocent victims
- Innocent victims = my loved ones or ME
Okay, so he wasn’t driving a Z. But the results were the same, kids and performance cars don’t mix.
So, sure, I’m a little prejudiced. Fine, I just pray the next dumb kid doesn’t hit YOU.
And, FYI, the little gift he gave me below cost my insurance company $14,000…
Want to know why I don’t like ‘kids’ having a 350Z ‘given’ to them or them ‘buying it’ themselves”??

srsly?
c'monnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
your missing the whole point of why people b**** about kids getting cars like Zs or whatever.
you want a kid to appreciate things and be more responsible, make them EARN things instead of having everything GIVEN to them. Trust me, the world would be a better place if that was the case.

[QUOTE=Elan;7518825]See when every d bag kid over here has one, it just looses its appeal. I strongly dislike lifted trucks for that reason. Though a 46 year old, I am sure you are no d bag thinking they can do whatever they want on the road.

It's truck country in PA , I didn't see as many when I lived in OH, and I didn't even like trucks when I was younger, you have to be responsible in whatever
you drive or pay the conseqences,I find that I drive a lot more agressive in the Z than our Miata or the truck, maybe because the miata and the truck are fairly slow when compared to the Z?, Craig
