I went to the autoshow at the fair also and actually sat in the back of the g35 coupe. I am 6'2" and was very impressed with the room back there, I had plenty of leg room, only thing was that my head touched the back window a "little" bit, but you could definantly fit people back there, and actual adults, and not just kids. Its alot of room for a coupe. Now the seats in my z32 2+2 are what I call unusable.
I think the Z looks much better on the street, than on a platform in the air. This also coupled with the fact that the black just didnt show the lines like the chrome silver that I saw a couple weeks ago. The black one at the fair just didnt impress me like the chrome silver one at courtesy nissan on the "street". Maybe it just has to be on the ground to get a feel of how low the Z is and how it just hugs the ground, and the light could of also contributed to it also. I got the same feeling the first time I ever saw the car at the dallas autoshow last year, when it was on the platform just didnt strike me as much as when I saw it on the street.

FYI-This was for the state fair......not automakers show for new products. Just a display to sell products not introduce or unveil and what not.
We have the Dallas Auto shwo the first of the year too....like the rest of the world. It's usually pretty fun

Heh, I was there last weekend. Sat in the Infiniti as well...nice car, with SO many similarities to the Z...notice the driver's seat has that same crotch cushion that the passenger side doesn't...
