Default Confirmation

I was wondering, how long after ordering did it take to get a confirmation packet from Nissan? I am beginning to wonder if my dealer is procrastinating. Any info will help!

I ordered mine end of April but I still have not got my confirmation .. Has anyone in the northeast received confirmation for an April pre-order ?

I pre-ordered my Z May 17th and got my confirmation on June 8th.

I ordered on 5/3 and I just got my confirmation 6/10. I am located in New Jersey.

I ordered mine on April 15 and haven't received anything either. I called my dealer a couple of days ago and he said everything was fine. So..????? I'm trying to find the number for NNA so I can call and inquire about my order and if not receiving confirmation is normal. Anyone know the tele #?

I'm just wondering if those of you who haven't recieved their confirmation live with someone else. I know when I got mine it was heading for file 13 when I noticed the Nissan logo on the back. It looked like any typical junk mail you get about daily so that's why I almost pitched mine. I know if someone else in the house would have got it they would have pitched it.

Just go to the nissanusa web site and email them. They always reply and are helpful. They will calm your fears. You will soon be in the Z!

Just wanted to comment on the superb customer service I got from NNA.

Hadn't received my confirmation yet, so I wanted to atleast confirm my order had been placed. Never really know with some of the crap dealers can pull. Called the above #, spoke to a rep who informed me I would receive a call back in 24 hours. Needless to say, I was very skeptical. Figured I would have to contact them two to three more times before any progress was made.

Much to my surprise, I received a phone call this morning confirming my order had been received. The rep also noted that the company that sends out the confirmations is a bit backed up as someone else had indicated in a different thread. On top of that, the NNA contact gave me her direct phone number, and said she would personally be tracking the order and would give me a call back every couple of weeks to let me know its status.

One word. "Wow!" Way above my expectations. Super job NNA. Now that's what I call exceptional customer service.

NNA has been really easy to work with, I'm real happy with things so far

Zthang, I ordered mine April 24th. I've not received any confirmation. I had sent an email (NNAConsumerAffairs@nissan-usa.com) they replied quite promptly but was completely useless ... which was one of the reasons I posted here.
I called the 800 number today, a "350z specialist" is supposed to contact me on monday with the details of my order, they even gave me the name of a contact for my order.
Try calling the customer service number, I think that is more useful then the e-mail service.

I emailed them last wed, called them last thurs, and still have yet to hear any reply. The guy I talked to on the phone was really nice and said i'd be hearing from someone w/in 48 hrs. Has anyone else heard from anyone after they called? NDRIVER?Should i be worried? AAAAHHHHHHH

I called them a while back (March) and received a call within 24 hours from NNA and from the company who was sending out the confirmations. Did they give you a reference number for your call?

I ordered Feb 1st, received confirmation that my dealer had totally screwed up my order in mid-March, finally convinced him to fix my order in mid-April, and hadn't received a darn thing since.

I just got off the phone with Consumer Affairs 1-800-NISSAN1, who read me back my corrected (yeah!) order for my Chrome Silver Touring, 6MT with everything I asked for and nothing that I didn't want.

I am order #1 of 1 at my dealer, all I need now is to see my car show up on his inventory sheet. I don't think Consumer Affairs can help me with that one, but otherwise, I found them extremely helpful, especially after mentioning that they had helped everyone else on my350z.com.

I ordered on May 18 and got a confirmation in 3 weeks.
Seems like several of us finaly caved in May, It could be this web site?!
Like someone else mentioned, The confirmation didnt look like an important letter but a nice advertisement.

They will be here before we know it.

heh - I was thinking the same thing, 'man there are a lot of us May orders'.

Actually though I didn't order mine in May because of this site or because of it getting close to release. I ordered my Z because I finally got $0.00 down at a dealer. The first dealer I tried pre-ordering through didn't know **** for the first 2 months of pre-ordering, then they wanted $1000 non-refundable deposit. Went to a new dealer and they said 'no money down, what can we order for you?'.
