I wanna have my NAV on my 350z to be converted to play DVD's

These guys claim that thye can do it...but they want to look at a NAV on a 350z to make sure, before they sell me the stuff.

If your interested in getting your NAV to play movies too you might want to check it out and post install pic....My stereo shop won't touch mine till they know for sure it can me done....and the Nav-tv folks said they can do it....I need proof ...I also might be willing to pay you if you take it to them because I would love to get my NAV to play movies.

I will call them tomorrow I want mine to play dvds also and I am in NJ.

 

PLease let me know whats up...they told me it should cost less than $500 to add a dvd player and the kit....That is if memory serves me right.

I just spoke to a guy at nav tv Im going there to let them look at my system today or tomorrow. He said they know what kind of system it is and they should be able to do it. Cost should be around $1400 including a dvd player and the stock nav system will still work.

Here is the break down in cost.

$300 dvd player

$500 RGB converter and diagram

I guess $600 in labor and taxes.

This is NY pricing so I will see how much the labor will cost me in Dallas. I also got a guy that works for a stereo shop that would get me a dvd player for $200.

GOOD LUCK and Please do this ASAP....so I can post diagrams and model equipment for other members....

There are a ton of 350z NAV owners that would love to have this done and it would be very cool to see it on a 350z with the factory look still there.

 

I am also definately interested please post findings.

 

I used to do installs so Im going to try to stay in the garage with them and take pics. Hopefully they wont mind so I can give everyone the low down on the whole process.
