Where'd you get a copy from? Can you get another for me, please?

I finally got both the 225k & 512k rm files, but there're sort of on the big side.

(225k) 3,113,428 jig0010480rl44.rm
(512k) 6,172,028 jig0010490rl46.rm

RealPlayer8 chops the hell out of the 512k one, but, as SandMan stated earlier, RealPlayerOne plays it fine.

Can anyone host these files?

My entire family lives in Japan, so it's pretty easy to get stuff sent. But if you really want one, the best place to look are at Japanese-run automotive stores. I know in California, there's an automotive chain called Autofreaks, and they carry Best Motoring videos there.

With RealPlayer 1 you can also select the full screen, theater view and the video covers your whole screen. It is much more realistic this way (instead of watching the normal view in a 4-in box). The picture is a little fuzzier, but it didn't chop up or anything.

Thanks very much for posting this link!

Yeah, when I lived in CA, I used to buy them at some Japanese mall near San Jose. I still haven't tracked down a reliable source in Toronto. Need to try harder.

I cant save it either. I right click, save target as...And it just saves the location. I click it, and it streams it. Then it plays like the Playboy channel when you dont pay for it... A whole bunch of lines and choppy.

I had to download the new free real player. I didn't try to save it to my computer, I just hit the linke for the 512kb link and it started playing. If you want to tanslate this website you can go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and then drop the link in. You can then read part of it.

Default GT-R

First time I seen the GTR, It is ugly but damm it is fast off the line in the video. He jumps right past the honda and goes after the Z. Would be nice to get that engine in the Z. I hope somebody can get the full video loaded on a site where we can download it.

VHS-NTSC of this issue is available for sale here in LA. Those around Japanese cultural centers in LA or Gardena can find them in the local popular video/book stores. The Japanese video rental place I usually go to has a few copies for rent, but they've been out for the last 2 weeks. They're obviously hot right now.
I have no way of getting it on the net though, and I can't justify paying around $40 for a copy. If someone is interested in buying directly from the bookstore I'll get the stores contact info.

The real reason the GTR was so fast off the line was not the engine, but the AWD. AWD cars simply own everything from a standing start. I've seen an EVO 7 almost ram the rear of an NSX in one of these videos because it jumped off the line so fast.

Im in Japan right now! Im only here for 2 more days. Ill try to get some copies of the video. Since not all of us have region free players, should I concentrate on looking for a VCD? Its awesome over here, I finally saw my first 350 on the road, and I had t o come all the way to Japan to see it! It sped up on a hill and over took a motorcycle. It was surreal. Tomy is making a whole bunch of Limited Edition Diecast toys of the Z. Including a 10 car set of all the Zs ever. I picked up a couple sets. Later.

I have realone player but whenever I try to play it it says
"Unable to locate server. This does not have a DNS entry. Please check the server name in the URL and try again" I even try to right click and save but it does the same thing. What am I doing wrong. I am going through a firewall. Is that the problem?

Super Autobacs carries the videos. You know, it's the Walmart-sized aftermarket store somewhere in and around Tokyo. You should go there just to drool. It's absolutely amazing!
