My dealer called me yesterday at 4pm and said my car will be delivered on Oct. 30, but all their Z's have came about 10 days early, so it could be Oct 20-30 time frame. Here's the kicker, he said he still doesn't have the vin # yet and won't until a few days before it arrives. How can he know its coming and not have the vin? Isn't that how they track it?

I ordered on May 31st and was told end of Oct or early Nov, so they are right on. Now I just need to sell my Xterra in the next 10 days or get screwed trading it in.

 

I would be weary of this...it seems to contradict all other reports. If he called and said October 26th (or something else specific) I would believe him more. Sounds like his inventory just shows October 30th + or - 10 days...I was told this in August.

Then last week I got my VIN and a specific date of Nov 5th.
