...or at least will be tomorrow. That's right. Nine months to the day (ordered January 11) and my Z will be delivered. I received the call late this afternoon that the truck with my Z was at the dealer. So I bolted out of work and arrived in time to help take off the wrapping, drive her into the service bay, see her go up on the lift, and walk around underneath her.
I was impressed to say the least....first, the amount of aluminium used obvious, and impressive, espesically the quality of the aluminium welding. Second, the detail to aerodynamics down to the air deflector on the forward side of the muffler, the undercoverings, the placement of components, even a non-mechanical guy like myself was awestruck. And, even after having read and learning so much about these things from this site, I still wasn't prepared for the quality and product I saw.
So as I go tomorrow to take delivery, thanks to all of you for keeping me patient, and almost sane for nine months...I don't think I would have made it without the help of all of you. Thanks! However, now I can go crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy.
