Default New Z "document preparation" fee?

I just signed for a new Z. The car will be delivered from another dealer tomorrow.

I was just looking through the purchase offer and it shows a $349 (USA) document preparation fee. What the heck is this? Is $349 reasonable? I thought I got around all the bogus add ons, but this one slipped by me. Is this something I should tell them to remove?

I didn't pay any type of fees for the paper work. It's BS if you ask me. Paper work is "cost of doing business" like making business cards or buying ink for the printer. When you go to starbucks, do you pay "ink fee for the register with your coffe?" They tried to do the same thing to me when I baught my Z, and I told them that I would go to dealer where they wouldn't change the fee. They told me, "well I'll have them waive the fee for you only." What a BS.

They didn't charge me any type of fee like that.. If they would have tried I would have been out the door going to another dealer because that is just bs.
