Default While your posting uis appreciated...

That Company is NOT NISMO U.K.

Every product on that site I can do better pricing and turnaround on mine:

http://www.japanparts.com

For Z-350 link through "Nissan"

UK guy also doesn't tell you that a lot of Parts listed there won't fit the US Model; the Brake pads for example, and as has been pointed out, the LM-GT Wheels have yet to be released for the Z-350

Graham, what about the "Mine's VX-ROM for 350Z M/T" do you know of anything in regards to ECU upgrades from Nismo, and for that matter anything else in the performance area, I see that many other companies seem to be getting off to a start, and as a final question I guess would be what would be for the US.

Default Hey "I sell Z's"

Do you happen to know where I can get the Fairlady Z key with the built in fob?

Thanks,

For the record, the avatar is a stock one that I added by accident and did not notice that they were the fairlady keys until someone PMed me with the same question.

I did PM japanparts with that question also, due to the fact that he is in Japan, he should be able to find out.

The key looks as if it does have the fob built in, but would have to find out if it does have the chip or not.

By the way how do I change the avitar, now that I have the alloted points and should be able to get the custom one.

Default JAPANPARTS.COM Reply:

I cannot supply that Key; keys are highly regulated here and what is available are only suitable for Japanese domestic models; sorry I couldn't help, but thanks for the enquiry neverthless

Graham....why are the parts listed on your site alot more expensive than those ont the prospec site.

your nismo body kit $2400 USA
prospec $2100

How can you say your cheaper when your posted prices are alot more.?????

When can I order the Nismo Rear Wing and When would I get it???

Default Suggest you look again at the PROSPEC Page

It says very clearly: "PARTS ARE SUBJECT TO 4.5% Import Tax and 17.5% VAT", that adds 22% to their quoted Web prices immediately
SO: DOES THIS REALLY MAKE THEM CHEAPER!?
It doesn't. Even if they claim some of their Taxes back on re-export (and they won't get them all back), you still have two lots of freight.
And let's look at the logistics; order from them and your parts are freighted from Japan to the UK, Tax is paid, then they're turned around and freighted back to you in the USA.
Result: Time and Money, and lots of both, and parts are travelling needlessly all over the World, and that ain't free.
I'm based in Tokyo; parts I offer you are Made In Japan, come direct from my Tokyo warehouse to your door and that's what I quote you for, the difference in improved turnaround and pricing isn't rocket science. If you can REALLY come up with a Site that REALLY offers these parts cheaper, (and by cheaper, I mean INCLUDING Freight to the USA, for which I have a GREAT wholesale deal!) then I'm all ears; in the meantime I'm STILL the CHEAPEST supplier out there
NISMO Rear Wing: Order it now and delivery to USA will be March/April 2003 at current backorder
If you want, I'll put you on a list for that Part, and when I have it in stock I'll email you. If you want it, buy it. If you don't want it at that time, I'll simply offer it to the next persion on the list

Thumbs up

Here's a plug for Graham as well....I emailed Prospec for some info 3 times, and it took 2 weeks for a reply. Graham promptly responded on a first attempt (within 24hrs.). When doing international business, customer service and info exchange is of paramount importance to me. As of now, I'll be looking to Japanparts for my needs first...just my $.02.

Default I'll second that

Just to add what Jritt wrote. I ordered parts from them already and received excellent customer service which is worth something in my book. Responses within a couple of days which is understandable due to time difference and earlier delivery of product then quoted. Thanks Graham

Default Prospec

Hi there,

My name is Shin and I'm new here.
I am usually on http://www.gtr.co.uk forum.
Prospec Motorsport Ltd in London is my company.
Azmil, this forum member, is my colleague as well.
Nice to meet you all.
We were specialized in Nissan Skyline GTR's, but since the 350Z has released in Japan and the US, we started importing 350Zs to the UK as well.
We are official importer of Nismo, Mine's, Top Secret etc for the EU market.
Recently, enquiries from the US customers is getting increased, and we are now sorting out the way to ship the items to your country.
In such a situation, it took several weeks to reply your emails.
Thank you for your patience.
From now on, we can supply almost all the items to your country from Japan directly.
Only the exception is the Mine's VX-ROM for 350z.
The reason is because of its stock ECU system.
Recent Nissan cars including Micra, 350Z and G35 Coupe has new type ECU system, and it requires the actual car to remap and install the ECU, and you needs special wiring and software to do that.
The easiest way is using our unlocked stock ECU chip and HKS F-CON V Pro.
If you would like to discuss further, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Many thanks.

Yours,
Shin

I don't know, I have written you now 2 more times trying to get the NISMO S-Tune suspension and have gotten no reply at all. If you have no more info, don't you think it be a good idea to let me know that so at least I knew you cared? Business must be so good my $1700 doesn't matter.

Have faith raceboy. I ordered some interior lights from them, and didnt get them for a while and was worrying that they forgot to ship them and Id have to go through some horrible process. I e-mailed them, and got a fairly promp response: He apologized, said they were held up with the English instructions (that I asked for), and said hed throw in a NISMO key (free) for the delay. Got everything the next week.

Default S Tune suspension

And you've got an apology from me for the delay, and a PM later today with a price and availability.
Regret the delay, I've just leased a new warehouse and have been busy with that, we had the Tokyo Autosalon last weekend too; not enough hours in the day
I will have a price for you today, and comment on availability and turnaround for that set
