Default Why No Redline?

I've seen very few Redline pics on this board. Can anyone speculate why? What is the general consensus about this color?

I've posted some before if you want to search. Also some arial shots in "member photos" "it's me again", or search "Chesapeake" auto show. Redline, lemans, and brickyard were some of the least ordered colors but I don't care - I love my Redline and would choose it again.

Default I've wondered the same thing -

I ordered REDLINE because it is THE classic color for a sportscar. I was amazed and pleased to learn that I am in the distinct minority... I will enjoy having a relatively rare colored Z, even if the car becomes very common on the roads.

I dont know, I think the red on the Z makes it look a little cheap? (Like my current 99 stang lol) Silver seems to suit its classiness in my eyes, having said that..everyone has silver so..its nice to stand out like yours.

I look at redline like I look at guys with mullets. YES, Mr. Mullet, you DO have an original haircut...oh and yes, it is definetely one of a kind, the way that hair flows down your back, but yet so neat and clean at the top....

...One of a kind, but ewwwww...

Top 2 things cops love:

1. Krispy Kreme Donoughts
2. Red Sports Cars

That being said I chose the chrome silver because I liked the look and I already have a Fire Engine read Saturn VUE SUV which looks great in red. Sunset color looks pretty damm good as I have seen this car close up. Here is a pic. I would have like to see a midnight blue like I had in my Saab 9-5 SE.

Lightbulb seems like red is for us old folks

Saw a survey somewhere that had an age of owner and color comparison. The handful of Redlines were bought/ordered by the 40+ crowd.

I don't order any color, because in P.R. dont have that prevelige the 12 lucky people have to chose from 2 blue(base & track) 2 red (base & track) 2 black (base & track) 2 silver (base & track)
2 orange (base & track) and 2 White (base & track).
but I would chose redline anyway (I'm 27, not 40+).

I started out with Superblack. My insanity for Redline drove me to selling the Superblack and going with the Redline. Man, I cannot tell you how much happier I am. I just didn't have time for daily cleaning on the superblack and I like the Redline a bit better as well.

Default redline too

I checked a survey first, before ordering, and found that cs and the other silver were the most popular. I have a sterling mist maxima, got it in 2001 when silver just hit the scene, no one had a silver car. Now all the chevy commercials and pretty much all the others have their silver commercials. there are even 2 other silver max's in my neighborhood. I bought a sports car, I thought they only came in red. I'm well under 40 and have never had a mullet.

ps, just got my tag confirmation:

I have some more pictures but haven't uploaded them yet.

P.S. - No mullet, well under 40.

P.P.S. Silver is.... <yawn>
