One-upping the neighbors?
So, here's a funny little story. I got my Z back in the fall of last year. Everyone stared at it as they drove through the neighborhood. Soon afterwards, the DINKs up the street pull up in a blue ZR. I suppose they had to try to keep up.
Now, almost a year later, one of my friends is staying with me for a couple weeks. He has a red C5 that we park in the driveway. Now, a week after he gets here, the neighbors (different ones) across the street pull up in a new C5 Z06. Trying to keep up again.
Little do they know the C5 is supercharged and putting down 474.9 HP at the wheels and the Z has 150 lbs taken out of it with a 100 shot. hehehehehehe... heh

Ok, the whole exhaust system behind the headers is right at 88 lbs. The y-pipe attached to the cats is about 46 lbs. All the other bolts + mid-pipe + rear section is the other 42.

You're not alone. I was the very first one in my town with a 350Z. Two weeks later, a DB Z shows up. Almost a year later, now there's a PPW Z, another Redline (
), and a Silverstone. Oh well, time for some mods

Haha it was the exact same way a few years ago when I bought my RX7. There were like 3 in town when I bought it and now there have to be 10+. I still have to pride myself on mine being the fastest before I sold it
430 bhp and 2740 lbs.
