I'm looking to get out from under my 2001 Eclipse GT and into a new Z.
The only reason I ended up in the Mitsu was the 0/0/0 which has now screwed me.
My question is, how soon before I can walk into a dealer and get one? It seems like most everyone now is getting their pre-orders.

Any info would be appreciated.

 

There are some cars at the dealers from some people that backed out of their pre-order. You'll really have to keep on your toes and keep in contact with the dealers around your area. Also a lot of theses dealers are trying to sell these cars at a marked up prices. Most dealers have orders going as far as February of next year.

As far as actual dealer inventory, I would have to take out my crystal ball and say March or April when the convertibles are slated to come out.

 

I just talked to a dealer here who is giving me March or April timeframe if I order one.
He's running the numbers now on the model I want with a lease. Let's see what kind of digits he comes up with.
Then I gotta find someway to ditch my Eclipse and pay off the difference...
