nice...sick wheels...dont like the intake nostril

about the wing...keep it simple and close to the hatch...meaning no raised spoilers

trust me it looks better that way..i like my evo-r spoiler but it looks diff. and a little better with it off

anyway..good job

My vote is in, I like. After seeing it with the stock wheels and them comparing it to the wheels you have now, I really like them. They grew on me pretty fast.

Not a big fan of that kit.. if I had to choose one from Vizage I would go for the "lip kit") but I do have to say that it does look best on silver.. and with the new wheels it looks 10x better..

And by the way.. has anyone seen the next posible kit from Visage for the Z.. ?

A wing, eh? I'll have to go to another 350z meet and check out some of the ones available. I've never been a big fan of the wing though (have a 911SC, no whale tail), but I suppose looking couldn't hurt. Will address that small fitment issue that kcobean mentioned (it's not just the pictures).

Allthough my posts about springs weren't all that memorable, some of you may recall me asking about lowering. I will say that I doubt I'll be lowering the car as I scrape on ridiculously designed ditch driveways. I like the slightly lowered look, but that scraping noise is too painful to hear (and yes, I know the special way you need to drive lowered cars).

Re: The wheels...

Glad pj550v12 (and everyone else) seem to like them. They were actually... the reason for the post. The kit has been installed but I figured pointless to post without having the wheels on and the total package being done.

Check around the site, there are some photos of the Vizage wing on peoples cars, I think from a similar angle at which you took your photos. You should photoshop it in and see how it looks. I think you will like what it does for your car.

Hey that came out pretty decent..

But I think that on a silver Z a full "aluminum/polished stainless steel" wing would look better..

I've seen the Vizage wing and to me, it's a bit too much. Not sure how the Nismo replica would look, but at least it's a bit smaller. Although I'm Chicken, I'm not much of a wing man

Well, here's my thoughts on the whole kit...

I ordered the 4 piece kit (as opposed to just the back, or the back and the sides, or just the front bumper as some others have). After it came back from the shop and was installed, it seemed a bit over the top. It's certainly a big change over the stock (in looking at the before and after pictures).

I think there are cleaner back end treatments and would lok it find a one-piece, but the one piece I like also relocated the license plate area which I don't like.

You can find side skits that are much less "out there" -and I think these are probably the most over the top you can get. I may be looking to tone these down a bit, though that might be for the next Z

The front I do like. It is dramatic, but it extends the front slightly (which always bugged me), and adds some interesting lines (love it or hate it). I like it, and liked the lines and the openings better than some other similar front end bumpers. There are 2-3 other ones that are a bit less errrr.... dramatic.

Response by the common man (non-Z owners) has been positive (people generally stare at it as it passes them), but that was before the Progressiv Spokes went on. Not sure what they'll think of those, but it definitely looks better than the stock 17's I had. Overall I'm happy, even if it is a bit out there.

Those wheels are intense!! Very classy on that car. Not lovin the kit (I'm conservative when it comes to that stuff, so don't mind me), but it isnt the worst use of plastic i've ever seen.

Those wheels =MB / AMG look-alikes:

Wow, its like they took those 17's by AMG, added a few inches in width and height, added a polished lip, and got those works of art you have installed on your car!

What type of wheels are those, and if you dont mind, how much did ya pay?

Fiberglass... but yeah, not the worst I've seen, I'm sure there are better, but the entire kit is under $1,000 (shipped), which ain't bad for a glass kit which includes a whole front bumper and lights (plus the quality of the kit is A+ unlike some horror stories I've seen and heard about). I've seen some people post that they paid $4,000+ for their kit which is just out of control. $2,000 bought, painted, installed is about as much as I'd personally be willing to pay. It's decent for the price at the very least, though I happen to like it better than many of the $4,000 kits (bonus).

They are Volk Progressiv Spokes, and I got them with Toyo T1's installed and mounted, shipped, etc., so I'm not sure what just the rims would run. Was more than $3,500+++ all together though, but I really disliked the 17's that came with the car. Oddly, I couldn't find them listed on http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/e_index.html (the manufacturer).

If you got the 4 piece kit for under 1K, you got a great deal. Congratulations!
