Unhappy my 2nd Z stolen and wrecked

its horrible how there are so many scum bags in the world esspecially ones who steal cars wreck them and then leave the scene of an accident. only 2 weeks after i gotmy new z roadster it was stolen while i was at a party. The boy driving hit a telephone pole, a tree and a metal mailbox. he left my car on the grass and never got in trouble for anything. thank god insurance paid for it.

That sucks ... in the end you will be paying for it because your insurance rates will skyrocket.

Sorry to hear, there will always be idiots out there. Some where down the road he will get his though, he'll end up getting what he deserves. Your name gives me the slight hint you're a girl, do you think it had anything to do with that? Some people are just dumb and cant deal with women having nice cars.

haha thats funny alot of people say that. my dad is great when i was 17 i was driving a 2002 bmw 325ci.. i hated it and begged for a z. so my dad got me out of my lease. then i got a silverstone coupe. loved it! i wanted a convertible.. but it was too much money at that time and i didnt wanna wait 4 months. then this year i was having my brakes fixed at nissan and i sat down with a guy and it worked out that a roadster would be less money for me per month.. so i traded my car in, got the chrome silver roadster.. then it was stolen now im driving a red roadster. lol 4 cars in 2 years.. not bad.. lol 3 Z's in 1 year

So you know the guy who did it?

If someone admitted to me that they did it, and then offered to pay up, and then ran out on me....

I would find that SOB and surely make him regret it.

The trick would be doing it so that you dont end up in jail....

Let's see ...

17 years old - BMW 325
18 years old - Nissan 350Z

If this trend continues it will be something like ...

19 years old - Corvette Zo6
20 years old - Porsche 911 TT
21 years old - Ferrari 355

It sounds like the car was wrecked before you had reported it stolen. Is that correct? If so, then red flags immediately go up in a police officer's and an insurance company's head because this is a common ploy used by people who are invloved in an accident and then flee only to report that the car was stolen.

Of course, there are cases where someone's car is stolen and wrecked before they discover that it is stolen, which I'm sure is what happened in your case. I only wish to point out that when there is a accident and the driver flees and there is no witness who can identify the driver then the owner had better have a good alibi and be able to explain how the car was stolen especially in those cases where there is no visible signs of hot wiring.

I hope it all works out for you because with the facts you have given us. You will have to do a lot of explaining.

ignoring the 3 Zs; how did this fella get your keys? I like to atleast lock my doors(tends to help protect against theft) but above all, I try not to give the theif the keys.

sounds like this "theft" is atleast 50% your fault unless this guy stole the keys from you too.

not sure Id be giving my keys to any person that might do that.

*I wouldnt give my keys to anyone that wasnt family... but you know, whatever*

my stupidity was.. i was at a party where i only knew 1 other person. his friend was the one who took my car. but the time i realized he took my car. they said he was only takin it around the block. within seconds... they told me somethign bad had happened. i didnt kno what to do being an only girl where i didnt kno any1 surrounded by 5 guys i didnt kno. but the time i called my dad teh cops already called him askin if i was alright thinking i was in the car. the cops told me i had no story bc i couldnt prove it was them and not me. they couldnt take finger prints bc no1 was hurt. the kid i knew.. hsi mother works for the police. that night she called it in to crime stoppers.. witht eh boys names. the police still couldnt do anything with it. so the kids got away. insurance still covered my car, bc it was still reported stolen towards them. yet my dads insurance will still go up

are u serious i would never give my keys to anyone . not even my friends. i was holding my keys and playing with the kids whose house it was, his puppy. the kid that ran up grabbed the keys out of my hand.. he ran outside.. but the time i put the puppy down and ran outside he was already sittin in my car.. i ran up to my car stood in my door way and began to pull him out... thing is he was very much stronger than me... as i was pullin on him he stepped on the gas and sped off.. if i didnt let go he would have probably pulled me either int he car on top of him or pulled me that i got dragged to the wheels.
