Clocking Clutch? New Z

Anyhow I am having some questions and I was wondering if any of you nice people can answer..
1. During idle, while clutch is DE-pressed. It makes some sort of a griding noise..almost like a bearing is loose or broken. My car is new so I'm wondering why it is making this noise. When I Press the clutch down it goes away.
2. At a cold start and while driving either to park or drive out of a driveway... When I am in 1st gear and I throw it in 2nd quickly..it makes a Clocking noise about 3 repetitions of it... the same noise happens when I am in 1st gear and I accellerate real quickly and let go of the gas... this CANT be normal?
If anyone can answer this it would greatly be appreciated. Thanks..
